Men's Training Event | February 6-7

Only an hour west of Glen Ellyn, Dixon Valley Camp (8250 Finnie Rd., Newark, IL) will serve as the backdrop for this training event. We will gather at the camp at 6:00pm on Friday, February 6 and conclude with Communion on Saturday, February 7 @ 6:00pm.

The Apostle Paul wrote, “train yourself in godliness” (1 Timothy 4:7), and this 24 hour event will be filled with exercises to strengthen men in godliness.

Training exercises will include fasting for the 24 hrs we are together. We will break our fast at dinner on Saturday @ 5:00pm, just before departure. We will spend time in solitude and silence, asking the LORD to search our heart. We will confess sin to one another and pray for each other’s healing. We will sing together and study God’s Word together. Finally, we will not access our phones during this training event, doing our best to quite our minds and hearts.

The cost is $110.
